About Me

I am a keen amateur photographer with a passion for learning. 
Having bought my first Digital PENTAX KR in late November  2022 (second-hand £80), I became obsessed with learning the skills needed to create "WOW" images. I stayed with Pentax for two years and, at one point, owned three cameras (K50, K70, and K1) and 16 lenses. Owning more lenses than you ever need or use is the norm for anyone who enjoys photography. 
As of August 2034, I switched to Olympus, having been encouraged by Henry Turner (he owns the OM5 and raves about it). I needed a lighter kit and fewer lenses. I purchased the OM1 Camera, and I have not been disappointed. It is a camera from the future, for sure! It has opened up a whole realm of photography to me, including macro and wildlife photography, in particular seabirds.
